1. Where does the Club meet to dance?
We meet at Brimstone Restaurant & Tavern, 10595 Old Alabama Road Connector, Alpharetta, GA 30022; 678-568-9543.
2. When are Dance Lessons?
Dance lessons start the first Saturday of each month for 4 weeks beginning at 6:00 pm. Basic I is free for everyone and there is a $50 charge for Basic II. Check “Dance Lessons” for more information.
3. Do I need a partner to take Dance Lessons?
The Shag Dance is a partners Dance, however, a partner is not required to take Dance Lessons. Our instructors will ask a Club member to dance with you.
4. When are Social Dances?
Social Dances are held every Saturday night from 7:00 pm-11:00 pm. Please check the Upcoming Events for more information.
5. Are guests invited to Social Dances?
ShagAtlanta welcomes visitors to each Social Dance. Please come and enjoy the evening with us!
6. Is there a cover charge?
Members are admitted free. For non-members, there is a $5 per person cover charge.
7. Is there bar service?
Yes, Brimstone Restaurant & Tavern has a full bar service.
8. Is there food service?
Yes, Brimstone Restaurant & Tavern has a full lunch and dinner menu.
9. How do I become a member of the Club?
You can print out the Membership Application and mail to: Janet Croft, 786 Lioness Court, Stone Mountain, GA 30087 (jbcroft2019@gmail.com). You may also join at our weekly dances at Brimstone Restaurant & Tavern.
10. What is the cost of membership?
The membership year is from January 1 to December 31. Membership dues are $45 per person. It includes free admission each week, free lessons throughout the season, invitations to all club events and a Yearbook which includes members’ pictures and addresses distributed each December.

11. What is the attire for Lessons and Social Dancing?
Wear whatever makes you feel like dancing, in good taste, of course.
